About Us

For nearly four decades, our founder has lived inside the music world from every angle—on stage, behind the board, on the road, and in the trenches of band management. His journey started in 1985, at just 15 years old, when his father had to drive him to his first gig. Since then, he’s performed in thousands of shows across original acts, cover bands, cruise ships, worship teams, corporate events, and high-end destination weddings throughout the Southeast.

As a bassist and backing vocalist, band leader, and multi-band co-leader, he’s led projects that played more than 250+ shows per year at peak—including managing a multi-state touring act and building a successful tribute show. Over the years, he has shared stages with major artists including Richard Marx, The Kinks, John Butcher Axis, Cheap Trick, Brighton Rock, Kansas, Brian Howe, and The Outlaws, just to name a few, performing in respected venues across the region.

But his experience isn’t limited to the stage. He’s been the person behind the console, too—serving as a FOH engineer, recording and mix engineer, mastering specialist, video editor, and post-production lead. He understands musicians, techs, venues, and the business side of live entertainment because he has lived all of it—firsthand.

Where the Story Turns

After decades of organizing bands, communicating gig details, and juggling calendars, a moment finally snapped things into focus: a late-morning text on the day of a show— “What time do we need to be there?”

That one message summed up a lifetime of headaches shared by anyone who’s ever tried to lead a band or keep one organized. Endless group chats, lost details, double-bookings, payment confusion, and tax-time madness had become “normal” in the gigging world. And as someone balancing music with a successful 20-year career as a software developer and business owner—specializing in educational gaming, architectural simulations, and enterprise solutions—he realized something:

Musicians weren’t the problem. The tools were.

Why Band-AId Exists

He didn’t build Band-A.I.d because it was a cool tech idea.
He built it because musicians, bands, crews, booking agents, and venues deserve better.

The mission was simple but powerful:

To make music fun offstage too.
To cut the stress, recover lost time, eliminate chaos, and elevate the entire music ecosystem—so everyone can enjoy the work around the show, not just the show itself.

Band-A.I.d was born from lived experience, not theory. Designed for musicians, by someone who has been one for over 40 years, it solves the problems no calendar, spreadsheet, or group chat ever could—because it understands how the industry actually works.

From gig scheduling to financial tracking, from band communication to booking workflows, from production coordination to venue professionalism—Band-A.I.d exists to modernize and uplift the live music community.

Because music should feel joyful—not like babysitting a logistics department.
